as for lowlevel, yeah if youre d9-11 just stick to those tournaments and dip your toes uncapped events, but if you’re high lowlevel you should just challenge yourselves even further bc atp you’re a big fish in a small pond

yeah we’re in agreement, i think the key to increasing attendance in uncapped tournies is ironically having less tournaments. there are more tournies than people attending them so the pool is super diluted.

mostly you should be playing against ppl better than you to improve, but i do agree that there is a threshold where the sheer difference in skill actually has the adverse affect. there is so much that a d9 player doesnt know and cannot learn from or adapt to vs a top level player in a meaningful way
