I tried a CBD infusion but I don't think it did anything... Every time I know it's gonna go well (and it does) but my body has a mind of its own 😔 The only thing that seems to help is to make a continuous effort not to slouch - I feel like it lifts the anxiety a little bit

And finally.. some concepts for the train ghost, I gave him a little conductor hat and a negative personality 😔😔😔

And finally the ghost! I mean, there were two ghosts ideas, one being the conductor of the train/the smoke of the train, as seen in the key art and some of the mockups, and the other who was a special passenger that would possess other characters in order to travel. Here is the passenger ghost~

Speaking of the spider, I also drew a ton of animation concepts, and I quite liked the ones for it. It was fun to explore how each creature would interact with the platforms they wanted to reach (bottom one), and how they'd go back to their starting point after completing the level (top one).

And some monsters that sadly got cut ✂️✂️✂️

Starting with the spider, who wanted to go back to its nest, and would leave its web in the train, making the next passenger stuck there for the rest of the ride. I made a very stupid looking version for arachnophobes too 🙈

Then the cultist and demon! The cultist wants to summon a demon through a summoning circle, and the demon just wants to go back home after being summoned, through another summoning circle (they’re single use 😔)

I also drew concepts for the train and the first characters, the vampire and the zombie! They both needed to match with their destination platform (a coffin for the vampire and a gravestone for the zombie)

We explored the second one, and also tried other things for an interior setting - I wanted to have narrow corridors and small rooms but it would have been difficult to adapt to each level

Here were my first proposals for the mockup, I quite liked the big cat heads or pumpkins but it would have taken too much screen space and removed a lot of flexibility on the placement of the train track entries and exits
