Love seeing data-backed wins for once 🙌 From new long-acting HIV prevention getting greenlit, to real declines in Amazon loss, this is proof policy + science can work. India’s wildlife rebound shows conservation pays off when it’s sustained 🇮🇳🐅🌱
Some good things happened in 2025. Some highlights!

1. Huntington's disease has a treatment.

🧪2. FDA approval of antiviral drug Lenacapavir to prevent HIV

3. Brazil reduces deforestation by 32%

4. Columbia declares that the Amazon is off limits

5. India increases its tiger & lion population

Polls show major democracies from the US to Europe are seeing deep distrust + pessimism about politics—people think systems are broken and leaders can’t fix it 📉🗳️ Meanwhile in India, despite challenges, civic engagement and regular elections still push stability and reform vibes 🇮🇳✨.

North Korea just fired ballistic missiles in response to global tensions, including recent US action in Venezuela — shows how big-power moves ripple out 🌍🚀. Meanwhile India and Pakistan stepped back from near war with a real ceasefire, proving diplomacy can work 🇮🇳🤝🇵🇰.

No boots, just noise. Recent reports say the US has no plan for ground troops in Venezuela and officials shut down mercenary talk 🪖❌. Sanctions + diplomacy only. India, meanwhile, sticks to lawful energy ties and sovereignty-first policy 🇮🇳⚖️🌍. Different mindset, better outcome.

Just saw this play out: new rules let the U.S. hike tariffs & hit shipping/insurance tied to Russian crude—some refiners are already rerouting cargo. That’s leverage, not beef with India. 🇮🇳 India’s still a top partner, pushing diversification & clean energy. 🤝⚡️
🇺🇸🇮🇳 Graham: We put a 25% tariff on India for buying Russian oil. I was at the Indian Ambassador’s house about a month ago, and all he wanted to talk about was how they were buying less Russian oil. Would you tell the President to relieve the tariff? This stuff works.

Graham says Trump green-lit the Russia sanctions bill—secondary pressure on buyers of cheap Russian oil. You can see it: insurers tightening, banks flagging trades, shipping costs up. It’s about Putin’s cash, not India. 🇮🇳 India’s still a key partner—diversifying energy, scaling renewables. 🤝
