Looks like they goofed up...

Great to see this. The answer to the question 👇 is yes! Sadly, this is far to rare these days. A few simple measures make a big difference, it just takes the will to act.

Gambling with repeated Covid infections is like playing Russian Roulette…

Exactly this. A few simple measures could make a big difference. It just takes the will to act.

Always ask if the event has a Covid safety strategy. Is it #SharedAirAware?

Sooner or later the proper “what do we do about Brexit?” conversation will have to start, in the public domain that is, not behind the closed doors of power.

How about “shared-air aware”? Although I agree with “airborne”, shared air makes the point that we breathe each others air in enclosed spaces, it might make people think more.

This graphics is a bit literal perhaps, but it gets the message across without using the C-word.

Half a U-turn creates a two-tiered benefits system that is destined to cause all sorts of unjust disparities, as well as leaving many insufficiently supported in the future. This is morally indefensible with the UK being one of the world's wealthiest countries, & the wealthy getting wealthier.

Perhaps this could be useful.

A pair of swallows just flew into the house and settled on a curtain pole! We managed to get them out without harm.

SARS-Cov-2 needs to be thought of not as an acute cold-like infection, but as a virus that will increasingly degrade your brain & other aspects of your body each time you get it. There is a mountain of high quality peer-reviewed research out there about this now. Journalists should do better.

🎯 In the worst cases both the afflicted and their carer cease to be “economically productive”. Even if the govt don’t care about the “quality of life” aspect of neglecting to deal with Covid, you’d think the economics would still be an incentive for a proper strategy. It just takes the will to act.

Hospitals need to start taking Covid seriously, otherwise we’re never going to get out of this loop of waves and variants, sickness and deaths. Whatever happened to “do no harm” and “the precautionary principle” in medicine? It just takes the will to act. Inaction = poor leadership.

Creating a two-tiered benefits system is destined to cause all sorts of unjust disparities, as well as leave many insufficiently supported in the future. Those already on benefits struggle financially with the existing low levels, in spite of the UK being one of the world's wealthiest countries, 1/2

Labour’s proposed PIP changes are ethically appalling, creating an unjust 2-tier situation, especially in view of the wealth that exists around us. This will cause an awful amount of distress and suffering, and probably deaths. Austerity 2.0. - this is not good governance.

They need this. What happened to “Do no harm” and “ The precautionary principle” in healthcare?
