You can swap to OG music, you can choose not to engage with action field combat, you can switch to JP voices. Mechanically the combat is still the same combat. Unless you're someone that just really prefers the isometric sprites to 3D (which is fine), I dunno what advantages the OG would have

Remake is arguably a slightly weaker script in certain ways as it was more faithfully translated vs XSEED's original EN version, and then just better in every single other way. 2nd Chapter remake comes out 2026, but you can always swap to the OG there if you really want to continue ASAP.
