I just finished The Girl in the Walls by @medenkuyatt.bsky.social and omg. If you're neurodivergent please read her books. It made me feel a LOT. My grandma was taken away to an asylum and was never the same. I wish we could help all the girls in the walls. For now, just be kind, and listen.

There has always been a gate in the fence between these two businesses, and in the last few weeks it's been closed off. Extremely sad to have that passthrough to college square closed off :( was a great spot to go to the Vet & over to do groceries

Me: Rolo is so freaking chill in the country. I could probably let her off leash and she would be so well behaved
Also me: knows that that would be unsafe and unwise even if nothing goes wrong!
Rolo will in fact chase anything if given the chance, and I believe dogs should be leashed anyways!

I jumped into this book a few chapters in because my elderly relative was having it read out loud to her. I got most of the way through it with her before she passed. Finally finished it for her.

The Maid by Nita Prose

I really loved the world building of this book. So much wonderful magical plant life! The characters are all so fun and real too. Felt the story a bit rushed at the end, but still overall a very fun read.

I was fully happy with my city life until I got her. I knew what the energy and mental stimulation needs of this kind of mix would be, but the absolute LOVE for being outside doing what she's meant to do makes my heart ache that I don't own a giant property for her. I wanna win the lotto for her 🥺
