Thank you for saying all of this, I'm glad you found my posts so empowering. I agree with you, getting out and involved with community is so much more empowering and energizing. Not that there aren't times when online activism can help, especially with education, we're just in weird times right now.

I don't hesitate to block people anymore, and I really encourage people to focus on their art, their joy, their passions, literally anything else because you are doing more for the people around you than anyone creating that kind of atmosphere.

It's exhausting and so damn isolating because no one is actually here to improve anything, its all about likes and profiting off of the moment.

Yeah there are definitely a lot of layers to it.

Yeah I figured if they are the kind of people getting sensationalized, they'd probably not be the best kinda people. I just wish others thought a little more about how romantic vs sexual attraction can differ.

I have to imagine there is some way to make it easier to migrate across platforms, like a uniqueID that you could generate which would auto follow mutuals/people you follow elsewhere.

Seems like it should be an open standard.
