Next week, we celebrated the "Galette des Rois" in the lab. It’s typically a puff pastry filled with frangipane (almond cream) The tradition dates back to the Saturnalia, Roman festivals where a bean was hidden in a cake. Whoever found it became ‘king or queen for a day’. Here are our queens & king.
