Deltarune (ch. 1-4) (June 8) - as someone who was normal about undertale, i've been loving this. i'm entirely hooked. susie might be one of my favorite characters, and chapter 4 in particular may be my favorite so far (up there with 2).

Late Night With The Devil (May 25) - this movie's framing and conceit carry what is an otherwise fairly standard American horror narrative pretty well. It's a fun movie to watch! Moreso than it is scary but that's what it felt like it was going for.

Late Night With The Devil (May 25) - this movie's framing and conceit carry what is an otherwise fairly standard American horror narrative pretty well. It's a fun movie to watch! Moreso than it is scary but that's what it felt like it was going for.

Skin Deep (May 24) - a bite-sized immersive sim is really interesting because you definitely have to see a lot of it on a first playthrough, but that just helped me appreciate the mechanical progression.

Tactical Breach Wizards (May 23) - this one scratches an itch for me. on top of the really fun character writing the way the optional challenges for each level really push you to use your abilities creatively to make the otherwise pretty simple gameplay shine.

Sea of Stars (May 17) - i really wish i liked sabotage's games more than i do. many of my gripes with the messenger (especially in regards to mechanical pacing, where the game stops giving you new things but keeps on going).

Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (May 2) - youtuber horror makes for a pretty good conceit. Similar strengths to blair witch where the absurdity of the characters adds to it. i'm tired of of found footage without any characters and this is not that thankfully.
