Quello che conta alla fine è l'impatto ambientale (CO2eq, inquinamento atmosferico, consumo di suolo ecc) medio per persona, che comunque dobbiamo diminuire drasticamente sia che con una popolazione di 3, 5 o 10 mld di esseri umani.

La maggior parte delle misure che abbiamo messo in atto per diminuire il tasso di crescita della popolazione hanno avuto conseguenze disumane, e ne stiamo iniziando ora a pagare le conseguenze in termini demografici ed economici.

Ho letto e apprezzato l'articolo. Non pensa che continuare a parlare di sovrappopolazione umana sia un po' scivoloso? Riguardo al tema in questione non si potrebbe ugualmente porre la questione in termini di consumo eccessivo di prodotti animali, ubiquitario in tutti i paesi mediamente sviluppati?
