Been meaning to tell you for a while that you're doing incredible work on Poison Ivy ! :) In general, but, especially facial expressions, you're outdoing yourself, this current arc.

(I watched the latest episode of Lioness and I'm pretty hyped, but I HAVE been thinking of something like this for a while. Lioness just concretizes what I'd want)

Yes, Phoebe, I don't know who Phoeve is lol facepalm

And personally I'd add Phoeve Dynevor in there. To me she has THE Jean Grey face, but, that is very subjective. You picked some good choices.

Hm. Perhaps it's less a shift, and more that some fans are more vocal about their desires to see themselves in superheroes, especially people of color and LGBT+ fans who didn't use to have as much of a voice nor representation.
But I hear you, perhaps I'm simply more aware of it now than before.

Yeah for sure, I just think for the topic at hand, this shift in appeal also affects how people view certain superheroes and their traits.

It can certainely be aspiritional in both cases.

Superheroes used to be icons we looked up to (maybe not always, but when I grew up), but, newer audiences don't necessarily want that these days. They want supers to be more like us.
Not imposing judgment, just an interesting shift I noticed.

I feel like it comes from the shifting in what appeals to people when it comes to superheroes, what they look for in one. Used to be "they share our struggles, but they're better and bigger than us, they can do what we can't". Now it's "what it is was ME but with a costume and powers."
