Good question

I think the explanation of a free market economy is a good idea we tend to associate with the right.

Wouldn't hold my breath to argument for the inherent distortions that can exist in this type of system. But it seems a good idea.

Would change my mind if something better came along.

[3/3] Most seem reactionaries from the left or right. Hatefully trying to punch the other side to claim moral victory.

I kind of tune out from politics these days.

My time & energy are better spend helping my community and making everyone around more prosperous and happier.

Polarization sucks

[2/3]

Let ideas talk, let the best explanation win.

It's fun to see the right painting my arguments as weak, and the left as far right enabling.

I became an accidental centrist, even though I hold no allegiance to it.

I read the books, listen to the pods, talk to different kind of people.

[1/3] I get your point.

Though I have zero interest in neutrality, I never subscribed to identifying myself as someone from left or right.

My goal has always been to judge situations based on good explanations.

Good ideas can come from the left and the right. Why plead allegiance or be neutral?

I see your point.

Well, let's see what happens. F1 is always fun! (:

Oh yeah, I agree.

But wasn't the validity of the grand prix put into question after everyone discovered that Renault meddle with the race?

Anyway, don't really think anything of substance will happen. I'm more of your take

LOL, yes!

I don't think this will do anything to Lewis title, more of a confirmation that Massa got screwed by the Crashgate scandal.

But what do I know?! I could swear Briatore wouldn't be back to F1 and here he is.

I will not buy a Lotus Elise

I'm worried about defense and the center position, but boy am I happy to have Dalton for the rest of the year! Hope he goes super saiyan on 3 point shooting

There isn't one but how about Stolzschmerz?

(Stolz = pride, Schmerz = pain)

Or maybe "Herzstolzweh" (Herz = heart, Stolz = pride, Weh = ache) for a more poetic touch?

😄

Hope AD has a fulfilling career outside LA, he deserves it!

Lakers' social is so bad this year... just going through the motions, no heart in it

You're a pro Claire! 💛💜

On other news, I always thought it would be fun if Luka became a Laker in his early thirties...

He is a little bit early but I'll take it!

Welcome Luka (:

As always, in tune with the fandom spirit!

Enjoyed your partial rant. (:

I don't think it's cowardice, though it could be. To me is more of what this book below talks about.

The tides have changed, and with it some people feel more open or coerced to express certain opinions or do certain things.

But as I write about it, yeah, maybe it is cowardice.

Media coverage is now focused on Trump’s farcical Canada, Greenland and Panama statements rather than his very real cabinet picks and Project 2025.

This isn’t a new trick. But it works every time.

Rose, like Lebron, was one of those players I kept an eye on throughout his entire career.

Though he never played for us, whenever he'd put on a jersey I'd watch and root for him.

His years in the Bulls were wonderful to watch. So much energy, talent, showmanship.

Well deserved!

Perfect day to post a pod with Raj, the Lakers do play today! (:

Oh my, two pods? You're awesome Jeanie! 💛💜

I have a similar impression.

The negative bias from media (social and legacy) shaped the discontentment and distrust in the system for most people.

Wish normal ppl and politicians remembered what function elections have. It's way better than the authoritarian/violent alternative. (:
