I always vote NDP. I feel like if I vote for anyone else it doesn’t fit my values. Every election people say: “this time is different” and that I have to vote liberal to keep conservatives out. I know you can’t tell me to vote one way or another. I want to vote NDP, good idea? Or liberal?

It is an attempt to instill fear in the hopes of rendering the population impotent. It works, that’s why dictators, authoritarians, and monarchs existed and continue to. Democracy exists because people fight against it and never stop.

The algorithm is making me feel like having democratic ideals is part of a bygone era. I didn’t realize how fast I could feel like a part of the past.

It’s good to take the small victories. I hope the democratic side finds a way to stop this strange takeover. I am not ready to give up on democracy, even if billionaires and people consumed by rage see no more value in it. What’s the saying? “You never know what you have until it’s gone”. Yep

I love the Americans I have met. I love the idea of America. It makes it all the more painful that the worst of humanity is in charge there. I believe in America being a beacon of light and source of inspiration for what could be; but damn the American dream is so far off these days :(
