Yeah that's very true, I think the regional forms would definitely have more staying power than new megas would - megas tend to get sidelined until they decide to use them again in random places. Plus, regional forms tend to get new movesets and can play with the stats more

I miss how games used to (usually) be a lot more polished on release due to patches just not really being a thing back then. It feels nice to open a game and know that everything is there, you're not missing any updates or DLC. There's something so very analog about gaming from that era that I miss.

Chikorita is so underrated, and I'm excited to see if they end up doing a regional version or a mega! A Grass/Fairy Meganium based on the Iris and royal themes would be awesome.
