Have you heard of Cancelled? That song she made after she got called out for hanging around people who were openly MAGA in the wake of dating Travis?

Mmmm, alright. Thanks for the clarification! ^^^

Yeah, I can get that. I wasn't trying to make it sound like getting arrested was the only way either, but that a large part of civil disobedience is getting arrested. I understand what you're saying now and yeah, I agree.

I'm pretty sure that Lovecraft changed his views towards the end of his life, becoming not racist and a socialist. Could be wrong, but digging into him as a person tends to yield these kinds of results.

Anarchists like who, exactly? There are many different types. I specifically lean more towards communism / anarcho-communism. Going into anarchist theory doesn't yield the results you describe, infact they yield lots of positive community interaction / organizing, rather than mayhem.

I'm already well aware of the consequences beforehand. Not to mention you don't need to be a not white person to still be in the minority, I'm queer and have mental health problems. It isn't just me calling for revolution either, tons of black advocates, immigrants, people from tons of demographics.

A large part of revolutionary figures as well is figuring out where we can take their practices, and make them more radical. I don't entirely disagree with the notion of that we should be more radical, but it's important to not dismiss these figures, otherwise we end up losing touch with our bases.

You know that a revolution in the US would be FOR minorities and ANTIFA correct? I'd rather stand and fight for what I believe in then do nothing, especially since elections and general protests won't fix this country's problems. They're systematic. Not to mention, I am queer, I am a minority.

Lots of Cuban suffering is because of the US, actually! Other then that, China and Russia had other factors that contributed to failures, such as war and limited resources. We have plenty of resources, and even then, will have more with our crimes against Venezuala, Greenland and Iran in the future.

This is where I'm at with political violence. And with where our country and ICE is at, I think it's about time personally.

it provides for a reasonable outcome to take, where we can thrash down our system and ask "how can we move forward and have future generations be better beyond liberal capitalism?" For a government that doesn't want to do anything with the peaceful, even gunning them down, what else can be done?
January 31, 2026 at 9:40 PM
Ehhh, I sort of disagree with this. I think violent revolutionaries can and inevitably will be important in some form or another through such uprising. Can one come to such a conclusion in a haste without plans of action afterwards? Sure! But for what places such as the US need right now, I think i-

I don't even entirely disagree with the sentiment of how some of these revolutionary leaders could have been more radical. I just also think that, like you said, these aren't bad role models to take away from. Where can we learn from these people, and how can we improve it to meet more goals?
January 31, 2026 at 9:36 PM
Entire leaders of countries to list off of, if that isn't revolutionary in some form or another, I have no idea what is.
January 31, 2026 at 9:27 PM
Some of the most revolutionary leaders of the 1900s to now have been incarcerated in some form or another, letting that make a point as opposed to doing EVERYTHING to avoid going to jail. If you're doing your best to avoid it, chances are you aren't being as revolutionary as you think you are.
