It’s been over a year since we lost the Original Butter Cat, and I still miss hearing that sweet little Bengal flop down the stairs every morning for toast, but Stellar has done a really good job of stepping in and taking over Butter Cat duties. I appreciate that I am never alone for breakfast 😻

The kids got Till debit cards this year, but before they can dive into using them, we’re working on financial literacy! I love these workbooks because they focus on vocabulary and reading comprehension in addition to math and finances - and the kids love them because of the fun activities!

Today’s cooking lesson for school - Cream of Wheat! We experimented with which topping we liked better. The one on the left has a small amount of maple syrup in it, and the right has a bit of grape jelly. Verdict? Jelly wins! It had more flavor. What is your favorite way to make Cream of Wheat?
