I forgot to post this yesterday but I’m down 40lbs AND I ate cake last week

Day 1 on my thyroid medication. Time for me to undo God’s nerf and take over the world

Funnily enough, my doctor told me I should be comatose based on my medical results, but I’m still able to work on active duty, run 10-15mi per week, and pull 1-2 24hr shifts per week

God thought he could nerf me but I just came back even stronger

My SO’s about to return from a combat deployment and her command revoked the entire unit’s 3-day pass upon return. So I’ll get to see her when she gets back, but back to work on Monday.

If you can’t spare everyone 3-days (staggered by flights), maybe you need management skills.

I tried my hand at photo editing tonight without any prior experience or knowledge of what “right” is. I used photos I already had in my phone. Here are the results:
