Skavenslayer is such a strong entry in the series. Never empathised more with a rat than Thanquol constantly screwing everything up

I suppose this is what Dan meant by "look behind you". 2011 is so far behind us it's almost unrecognisable.

Deeply refreshing to hear someone make sense of the Bat-Crap-Crazy state of things.

We've waited three years, take it slow and steady mate. Getting it right is better than rushing to get it wrong

George Carlin's bit about lying politicians is evergreen; "Americans like their bullshit up front, where they can get a good, strong whiff of it"

Excellent! Look behind you indeed.
History will always be our greatest resource for informing the present.
Being reminded of this is always comforting to me, that while we are constantly experiencing firsts and unprecedented circumstances, it's all at least partially happened before.

Ever since the last CS, I keep wondering what Dan would say about all this. Every time I read something in the news, I hear Dan in my head whispering "this is a rubber-meets-the-road moment" and "like everyone else, only moreso".

I picture Jack Black in my head being asked by his agent to stop being in hot garbage, as his character in Tropic Thunder. Tied to a tree Odessyeus-style

That being said, is there anything more Skaven than picking the absolute worst option, to the detriment of everyone, including themselves?

I feel like the Skaven are hard-wired to look at a set of choices and say "yeah, I pick THAT one" and blame everyone else when it all goes tits-up.

I really like the colour palette! It reminds me of Allura's armour from Voltron. It's definitely the right vibe of futuristic.

Absolutely, even Rome II had wall-based artillery.
Maybe the tradeoff should be once it's there, it can't be moved until the end of the battle.
