This was based on the Windrush scandal. It was horrendous. Public outcry was fairly unanimous at the time which led to a walking back of the more controversial policies. Sadly it seems to have gone full circle.

I am very surprised John is so low. His role in the Robin Hood legend means he’s probably appeared in more films and TV shows than most other British monarchs.

I find it amusing that they’re keeping it as the Gulf of Mexico elsewhere. Strikes me as similar to (untrue) stories of North Korea editing World Cup footage to show their national team winning.

Yes, the accuracy problem is acute. And it’s all past knowledge, based on probability rather than possibility. It makes decisions not real choices, and can never really create.

I’ve argued that with Chat GPT, and it ended up agreeing with me.

AI is currently a “co-pilot” that’s best used with expert oversight. Unfortunately that is overlooked in the public consciousness due to high profile cases of people using the technology beyond its current capability (eg legal briefs with made up rulings). As you say it will only get better!
