Since GRID statistics are derived from harmonized administrative records data on earnings histories across countries, I’m particularly excited about how this initiative will position Lithuania within a broader global conversation on these crucial issues.

Together with Jose Garcia-Louzao, we will integrate findings from Lithuanian social security data into this international research network. Our work aims to uncover new insights into income inequality, income dynamics, and income mobility in Lithuania—topics with significant policy implications.

One of the key focuses of my time here will be contributing to the Global Repository on Income Dynamics (GRID), co-directed by Luigi Pistaferri (Stanford), @fatihguvenen.bsky.social (Minnesota), and Giovanni L. Violante (Princeton).
