This stowaway Thief is out to rob you and he has plently of sneaky tricks up his sleeve. The most brutal one is Not so Fast! Always think twice before drawing cards off your Gold, just in case he snatches the draw away.

Puffin's hero ability can trigger on opponent's turn. Cards like Teeth of the Cog and Pinion Sentry can prep Cogs for your turn, or combine to draw a card by cranking them as they are created.

Red block cards like On the Horizon can stop breakpoints and overpower. However, I recommend you remember the exact number of red blocks in your deck, as it can get awkward drawing them off a Gold on your turn.

SEA features 0 attack reactions and 0 defence reactions. The closest to those are Mech attacks and Throw Caution to the Wind. Main form of evasion is Overpower, while main counter are block cards.

The Ranger and Mech have two weapons to choose from. I recommend Blunderbuss and Hammerhead as the default weapons and Spitfire and Manta once you're more familiar with the format. The former slot well into any build, while the latter are trickier.

The macro is a powerful engine for Gold creation. Each hero power benefits from Gold, smoothing out their game plans. While its generally advantageous to have lots of it, there are cards that benefit the hero with less Gold - watch out for those!

I don't know how he does it, but Steve Argyle knows how to take one colour and run with it. His detailing in Viserai's armour and the runes makes him one of the most iconic heroes in the game. Steve Argyle

Creating realistic looking people is a feat of it's own. Shiyana is not only realistic, but the most stunning portrait in TCG's I've seen. Plus she's heaps of fun to play in Blitz.

Some artworks tell a story. Some tell it so well they become so iconic, they impact lore itself. Mangle is so gritty and badass, it was only time before Jarl became a full fledged hero. One with one of the biggest followings yet.

I have a soft spot for Outsiders art. Shred in particular sums up what the set is all about. Gruesome, simple, yet captivating through the use of light. Gives a Nightmare on Elm Street vibes, and always making an impact with you draw it at the end of turn.

If you started to play the game when WTR was the only set out like me, there is a certain magic of the fabled that makes it even more special, as there was only one at the time. I like to think my perception of the card is not biased because of its rarity, but 1/x

I have a soft spot for full arts, but they work best for shields. The unique shape and contrast achieved with the monochromatic blue gives Stalagmite real impact and shows what it does - its a huge slab of ice that will slow you down if you try to get past it. Lizhe Liang

I love card art that tells a story. This high fantasy piece gives us a feel of Rathe, it's people and what treachery unveiled. Contrast between bright greens and murky violets makes it pop, while light from the well leaves a bit of mystery.

Card's use of golds and bronzes instantly registers into your head when you draw it. The fierce stare and ready pose makes the warrior look majestic. To top it all off, the 'playing card' composition allowed for a beautiful full art treatment.
