General surgeon trying to keep up with SoMe and medicine
Morning MedSky. How to NOT enter a room:
Am in hospital for a very happy reason (new baby). MD just barged right into room. No knock. No introduction as to who he is or why he is here. Just a brusque "are you xyz?" When he realized I was not he apologized and left. At least he closed the door.

Went to the WW1 museum in KC : def worth a visit. Like any surgeon fascinated with medical history I had to look at the field kits for the docs. Is it chilling or reassuring we still use a lot of the same equipment ?

For the first time in more than a decade, the New York Chapter of the ACS held its first statewide educational meeting.

📝 Dr. Anthony Vine, NY Chapter President, recaps the May event, which featured leadership talks and cutting-edge clinical sessions.

For me, I have built a solid foundation of #Med contacts on the site that shall not be named. I check it intermittently to see what the general public is viewing.
