Boston Common has lots of greenery and flowers!! Also, you can walk down Commonwealth Ave (more flowers), and then along the Fenway (flowers and greenery) to the Gardner Museum or the MFA. Memorial Drive on the Cambridge side of the river is lovely, too. For bees, perhaps someone else can weigh in.
