Even in my super liberal part of the world, when I talk to people one-on-one, they agree that kids should not be making these decisions. Irreversible surgeries and hormonal changes are not something most people support.

They never outgrow it. In my experience. There are companies that make covers for office chairs, though. I think that is probably your best bet.

Sometimes, medical professionals get caught up in fads. Lobotomies, DID, recovered memories are all recent scandals. You &I want the same thing: evidence-based medicine for suffering kids.

Knees can be diagnosed with MRIs. There is no differential diagnosis for trans. It is now more likely to be an expression of distress, like anorexia, especially among adolescent girls with no history of gender dysphoria.

Sweden has limited puberty blockers and hormones for under 18s to research, as far as I know. I want these kids to get evidence based care, not the wild west we have in the US, where PBs are prescribed at the first visit.
