This morning, back on my Omaha Reservation, the opening day of the Hedewachi. One of the relatives from the HoNga clan said a prayer over our humble grounds. Giving thanks for the annual harvest and asking for safe travels and blessings for all that will attend. #TheOriginators

This weekend in Bago powwow. 13 years ago it was the last powwow my Dad attended before he passed. My oldest was leaving the pw and my Dad was sitting at the entrance. She acted too cool for him and ignored him, but absolutely saw him. He passed the next morning. She has to live with that.
