I've read four of these (Oryx & Crake, 3 Body Problem, The Road, and The Water Knife) and love them but don't think they're like Annihilation. The tone is different in each. Annihilation is singularly uncanny. I haven't read another book like it.

I'm just so excited that I have the same hummingbird feeder as @nnedi.bsky.social 😍 and yes, they are just mesmerizing to watch!
