Horrific!
This is absolutely insane. Musk’s DOGE crew just straight up *took* $80 million from an NYC bank account!
Okay what is going on here. Are the accounts at a private banking entity? Does the federal government have direct debit permission set up? So many questions as to how Treasury instructed this payment. (Via NY Post’s Craig McCarthy)

do you enjoy knowing that when you deposit money in a US bank, you won't lose that money? nice, right?

it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC.

i don't know what FDIC ever did to these people, but apparently it too is now on their blow-it-up list:

If Dems controlled the House, there would be cries for an impeachment inquiry over the IG
firings.

By the way, is anybody looking for the foremost expert on IG’s? It’s Glenn Fine at @brookings.edu
He literally wrote the book.

Continue to push back, Police unions and all of us. Criminals being set free is both horrific, a danger to our citizens, makes a mockery of the law —cuts “Protect and Serve” off from their ability to do their sworn duty and keep us safe! 🤬

This isn't going away, nor should it:
“It’s a miscarriage of justice, a betrayal, a mockery, and a desecration of the men and women that risked their lives defending our democracy.”

The right result, and even the right reasoning, but 5 to 4. Man oh man how close we came to another terrible outcome.

Boom boom. 11th circuit denies emergency motion, for which Trump had filed brief in support, to block Smith report. But doesn't remove Cannon's lawless order giving another 3 days from 11th circuit holding, w/ no basis whatsoever. Just tells DOJ they can file a notice of appeal from that order.
NEW: Eleventh Circuit court of appeals DENIES Nauta and De Oliveira's emergency motion to block special counsel report. The court leaves in place Judge Cannon's order enjoining release of the report, which would remain in effect for 3 more days.

Folks: please be diligent about not disseminating Ann Telnaes' cartoon in a way that she's not getting the clicks on it (until she says differently). Her IP matters now more than ever.

Make it go viral but make sure she benefits.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.
