10) sanding sugar: they’re an abomination. a crime against nature. essentially food colored raw sugar. i’d rather you dump over a packet of sugar onto whatever i’m eating and tell me how you really feel than have these near me. they don’t deserve the title of being a sprinkle.

9) nonpareils (any type): these are the bad sprinkles. i hate these. they are hard. i feel like i’m gonna crack my teeth every time. they don’t deserve rights. the exception is if they’re on a publix sugar cookie (but they’re still on thin ice)

8) baker pearls. sometimes coated sugar. sometimes crisped rice. i don’t like the inconsistency. i like the color variations, but sometimes they’re really hard. i enjoy them in a very small moderation.

7) these little sugar candies often on gingerbread houses. they’re sprinkle adjacent in the sense that they’re sometimes mixed in with sprinkles, and i use them as sprinkles on a gingerbread house. i like them as candies, but not as sprinkles. usually a fun shape.

5) chocolate sprinkles. don’t hate me y’all. they’re honestly fine. i am just not a huge fan of chocolate so i get the ick for the flavor after a couple bites. i also prefer an array of color compared to the monochrome look. tbh if they didn’t taste like cocoa, i’d like them more

4) the bad rainbow sprinkles. bland. either very waxy or super powdery. sometimes kinda hard. they’re not very good, but any rendition of a rainbow sprinkle is still an acceptable sprinkle in my eyes
