I love (certain) sequels but they don't have the same edge of uncertainty as the original. This is the same reason "new love" is much more intense than "mature love" - you're not quite sure what to expect.

I've played it through three times now. There is something soulfully satisfying about the finish.

In psychiatry this is called tangential thinking and is a sign of the severe cognitive impairment seen in dementia and schizophrenia, among other disorders.

I played HZD twice - once in English and then I got an Italian version and had to play it again. I am on my second go with HFW, both in English.

Go with Frozen Wilds first. You will learn a lot about Sylens. Also it is a good add-on to the base game

I am playing Forbidden West for the second time. Great game. Big game. Not quite as edgy as ZD because you already know Aloy's story, but a good follow-up IMHO.

Personally, I hate the "favorite" (singular) question. Ask me what some of my favorites (plural) are and I will tell you.

It is called projection. You project onto others what you don't want to admit in yourself.

Sequels are often not as strong as the original because some of the edge has worn off. I am not sure I want a Horizon 3.

I played ZD twice - first in English then I got the Italian version. I am playing FW for the second time, this go-through on a PS5. I love Aloy even though she doesn't love me 🤣

Only 45 hours and you're at the end of the game? You either missed a lot or are a wizard.

I am playing Forbidden West for the second time. "Isn't as good" depends on what you like. The basic combat system is the same with some modifications based on Zero Dawn feedback. Aloy is still Aloy though a bit more hard core in her views.
