I really enjoyed #thebreakthrough. It realistically portrayed the frustration involved in explaining the methodology of genetic genealogy to others who want instant answers or who have confirmation bias.

Giovanni Battista for sons; Cattarina or Maria Domenica for daughters (going back to 1200’s, Province of Trentino, alpine Italy).

Just bought the ebook - I love a good genealogy read, especially when it is a true-life story! Thanks for the recommendation.

Dah! My error - thought this was a new Morton book! I’ve read everything you have published and should have recognized the title. It seems so long ago that I read this book - think I need to go back and reread the series!

My grandaunt, Ann Genetti McNelis (1903-2005), the youngest in a family of 9, my grandfather's youngest sister and the oldest relative in my tree. She lived to be 102! At the age of 3 she immigrated with her mother and siblings from Tyrol, Austria to #Hazleton, PA. #genealogy #familyhistory

Different branches of my family have lived in the house since at least the early 1500's. During the last century, it has been divided into 5 apartments, two currently owned by Genetti cousins. The family can trace its origin in the area to 1265 and is noted in the Codex Cles dated 1311.

Yay! Can't wait - do you have a publication date yet? Loved "The Hollywood Strangler". It gave me several ideas for a direction into my own genetic research.
