Could be a shmup and you swing when you fire -- so it effectively charges.

Why not both: it is morse, but it translates to just "beep beep beep beep"

Togore won the popular vote overwhelmingly, but they're doing a donation thing over the course of the stream where it may swap between that and Chara depending.

I struggle through this one because they follow it up with The Igloo Episode and that one really just makes me happy

Nah, this is being developed by Koei Tecmo and Creatures Inc.

Koei Tecmo being a dev strongly hints that this is the DQ Builders team, which would put this game in a bit of a Mystery Dungeon-esque situation (for that one, it's joint dev with Spike Chunsoft).

Other highlights -- curious on how DQ7 has been improved. Mario Tennis looks interesting; if story mode is substantive, may buy. 2nd Air Riders deep dive should be good.
Negatives -- Z-A pricing is $100 total between base game, S2 upgrade, DLC (game's not even out yet!). Galaxy 1+2 is $70/$40 per :(

Time to trawl journalctl that came from the failed linux boot? I had a troubleshoot a bad CPU core once and it would just cause random shutdowns once or twice a week.

Key thing is, this isn't supposed to be the Switch 2 seller, this is supposed to be the NSO/Expansion Pack seller. In the future world where this is released and someone buys the Expansion Pack to access it on their Switch 1, that's still a winning outcome for Nintendo.

Does this imply that the transition between states is instantaneous, indicated only by a sudden "thump" noise?

My favorite moment ended up with Books when I realized on the final boss that I had accidentally hit an infinite combo and then proceeded to (after several minutes of building up) get a single-turn kill on the Cobalt.

To an extent, I think these are extremes of a spectrum -- toys that make the player strictly more powerful, vs toys that require build-around/have downsides, vs neutral objects that have interactions, vs enemies with useful gimmicks, vs weaker enemies, vs bosses/major challenges, etc.
