I was flying out of SFO and the TSA explained that they weren’t doing take off your belt and shoes “today.” You can imagine that this raised some questions.

It had already been decommissioned as a hospital when the building was used to film the series. After that, yeah, it was demolished.

I imagine part of it is the location. They filmed in a decommissioned hospital so everything looks extra old.
Fun fact: They owned the entire hospital so locations like JD & Turks apartment were sets built in hospital rooms and most of production including staff housing was done in the building.

Reminds me of when I explained the plot of Stalker to my dad and he said it was like the Wizard of Oz. I’m still envious he thought up a comparison that valid off the cuff. Like, he said this without even knowing that the movie also does the sepia to color thing.

You can tell they had to cut the campaign short as this guy shows up after just being a voice on the radio before and has a potential plot arc and character building setup that gets stopped dead in its tracks.
And I kind of love that there’s a fairly legitimate reason he’s wearing an airsoft mask.

A part of me is peeved that, as Jared from Silicon Valley there shows, tech aped a lot of NorCal casualwear mainstays. Everyone and their mothers used to have a performance fleece jacket from North Face or Patagonia until it started reading corporate casual instead of living under the marine layer.
