My Intro to DH class this fall at Drexel is 🤓jam packed🤓 with class trips to archives. We will be doing more hands-on exercises with non-digital media, including an assignment where the students check out (from me) a discman or walkman, and explore the CD or tape collection at the Free Library

I’m teaching Intro to DH this fall quarter to mostly English majors. it’s a totally new 10-week class within a dept that has no digital humanities presence. I want the class to be gentle, fun, encouraging, and highly collaborative & I’m looking for ideas or suggestions of assignments or readings ✨
