Why are the major media outlets not more concerned about Elon Musk's takeover of the U.S. Treasury payment system? Isn't this more frightening than even the tariffs?

I just deleted my Facebook account. It is more painful than it should be. I didn't pause it; I deleted it. I try, not always successfully, to avoid people, programs, services, etc. that I think are in opposition to my values. But, damn, I'm gonna miss the cute animals.
