Fun fact: according to a quick query to an AI tool using this video as a source, you only mentioned the acronym 'AI' eight times. This must be the lowest count of a talk from you in the last three years, and it's wonderful! 😊

As someone who loves, works with, and breathes technology every day, I find this talk very moving. I was given a PC back in 1989, when I was 13, at a time when owning one at home was rare in my country. To this day, I'm not aware of the sacrifices my parents had to make. It changed my life forever.

I tried this once and I dialed the police number instead of my mom’s office number. I remember this as if it happened yesterday.

I used FFmpeg while converting 20-year-old digital videos. To my surprise, it revealed a faulty Intel processor, which I returned to the seller. It’s impressive how this tool detected the issue, it uses low-level instructions to enhance performance and efficiency. Truly remarkable software.

Back when 3.5” floppy disks were still around, I had this happen to me. My final project for Turbo Pascal saved just fine, no errors, no problems. But when it came time to show it to my teacher, boom! That annoying message showed up: 'General failure reading drive A:'

Unfortunately, we can't view TikTok videos on a mobile browser. I don't know why TikTok forces users to download the app. I'm not a regular user; I just want to watch a specific video.

I remember they gave away digital games to compensate the downtime. By then, security was not important to Sony, they even had no validation of the email account we used to sign up to PSN. More than dark times.

A straightforward and efficient verification system is necessary as this network expands. It becomes increasingly challenging to distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent accounts.
