How could I be mad at this face? She was doing me a favor. I would have chosen petting her and kissing her dumb little head over working any day

I’m kinda at peace with it all now.. I still cry for her a few times a week but I know she lived such a long life and she knew she was loved. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it but things are definitely settling into normal again. Kinda.
