I wish theyd just make Elaine and Van an official thing. I think they have Van deal with it in a mature and definitive way in the scene itself which I liked but then they still make a point of teasing it after, not to mention the uniform thing is just weird.

I'm really curious where the next game picks up, if we're doing DB1 again without Agnes and the Genesis and everyone remembering what happened.

I think the scene as is is fine, Van handled it in a mature way and I was honestly surprised Falcom did this. Agnes is a teenager with a crush. Thats all it needs to be.

People still keep trying to make this into a thing. If Falcom goes back on this in the next game I'll be mad... and honestly if they even think of confirming some sort of relationship between them I might need to give up the series. I don't get whats with this series and this sort of thing.

How much did you understand? I played the fan translation last year and it was a bit tough. Im in the middle of playing the English release in hopes of better understanding everything. Its so nutty!
