You’re taking your nightly walk The neighbourhood is as it ever was The streets reach forever and it’s quiet It’s only you I wonder if you ever feel good I can hear your thoughts as you move your legs You don’t know where you’re going and neither do I You think about how you hate yourself And I feel so angry I want to die I hope you often wonder about me I never think of you On occasion the wind reminds me of your nasty words or harsh punches But I never have to wonder about you You, though, have to feel the heavy guilt restrict your breathing for the rest of your life And God, do I feel good
