Honestly incredibly happy with how the armour texturing and sprue welds turned out on this.
Now to paint it! :)

went to go see The Thing in the cinema tonight and when the attendant asked to scan my ticket I opened up the camera roll on my phone, whipped it around and very confidently showed them this image (not my ticket)

Picked up The Long Dark again after giving it a break for a while and it's sucked me back in again. Been a nice way to spend an hour or so winding down each day.
Even if you're not much of a gamer I highly recommend it. It's like dying in an Emily Carr painting. Genuinely sublime.

Friend recommended that I watch Chris Morris' Jam and I was dying the entire way through but the bit that broke me was the four foot car skit where yer man has absolutely had it and its filmed at like 2fps and overexposed

I do think that growing up in the Athabasca oilsands left an impression on me. I find heavy industry to be absolutely beautiful and I always yearn to see it.
Methinks I should do more industrial photography.

Instead of doing anything productive with my free time I'm thinking about Dubai Chocolate and how everything just loses all meaning over time, dissipating into vague cultural objects and useless commercialized shorthands.

Clearing out my drive and found some old photos of mine from when I first started doing photography. I really want to take a shot (haha) at macro again sometime.

Watched Grosse Point Blank for the first time yesterday and I got way too happy whenever a Lincoln Town Car or the Chevy Caprice came on screen
