The evidence is the well established existence of pre-Christian traditions of bringing wood/logs/trees into the home during winter festivals in the same geographic region where said Christian tradition appears to have begun centuries later.

This video doesn't disprove the pagan origins. They leap from people gathering wood/trees around Christmas straight to it must have been invented by Christians. There's no explanation/evidence of where they got the idea, and mention the maypole as inspiration which itself has presumed pagan roots
