Critics in the west don’t give manga or anime respect because they think it’s just “cartoons”. They think it is just for kids and since it’s for kids no need to take it serious. #westernmedia

I think professional gaming should be given the same respect as other professional sports. Professional gamers put in the same effort and time to become great at their sport. Gaming isn’t the same as a traditional sport but just because it isn’t doesn’t mean it should be looked down upon. #realsport

People are very concerned over the masculinity in China because they are starting to come to a realization that children are surround by women 24/7 which is good for little girls they embrace kindness and care. For the little boys they don't have a male figure to show them how to be a man.

I took this class because I have a friend who is born and raised in Korea. She has told me about Korean pop culture and that just made me so interested in it that she suggested this class and I took it. I hope to learn more and more every class that I don’t already know.

The studying culture in Japan and Korea are very different from where I grew up. I didn’t realize how much pressure is put onto kids at a young age to be perfect and study. Growing up I had lots of freedom to do sports/clubs to find out who I am as a person and what I like/want.
