Hmmm… that video is from 2025 but cites a cherry-picked 2015 study, even though the same authors published a 2024 study finding, 'These effect estimates include the possibility of benefit [3–4%] and no benefit.'

Water fluoridation for the prevention of dental caries - PubMed
Contemporary studies indicate that initiation of CWF may lead to a slightly greater reduction in dmft and may lead to a slightly greater increase in the proportion of caries-free children, but with smaller effect sizes than pre-1975 studies. There is insufficient evidence to determine the effect of …

Many doctors and dentists actually see this as a positive step. These fluoride drugs have never gone through proper safety or effectiveness studies, and emerging research continues to link fluoride to neurotoxicity. It’s about time regulators catch up with the science.

Seven years after fluoridation ended in LaSalud, Cuba, cavities remained low in 6 to 9 year olds, decreased in 10 to 11 year-olds, significantly decreased in 12 to 13 year olds, while caries-free children increased dramatically, reports Caries Research. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10601780/
Caries prevalence after cessation of water fluoridation in La Salud, Cuba - PubMed
In the past, caries has usually increased after cessation of water fluoridation. More recently an opposite trend could be observed: DMFT remaining stable or even decreasing further. The aim of the present study conducted in La Salud (Province of Habana) in March 1997 was to analyse the current carie …
