Let's pressure them to change their minds! Ontarians want a solution to the housing and homelessness crisis, not to throw people in jail.

Sign and share to pressure the PCs and Doug Ford — this is urgent:

This is important: A prospective Ford government has signalled its intention to expand prisons and put homeless people in jail rather than build the housing that people need and that is their fundamental right.

I don't want a province that makes people homeless then throws them in prison.
The Ontario PC platform has been released: static.ontariopc.ca/uploads/2025...

They have committed to re-tabling the Safer Municipalities Act, which makes being homeless in public a crime in Ontario.

Every other party understands that the solution to homelessness is housing — not criminalization.

A little Monday good news from me! The Narwhal has learned that Rouge National Urban Park is set to grow. Later today, the federal government will announce it has scrapped a plan for an airport in Pickering. Most of the land it set aside for the proposed airport will instead go to Parks Canada 🌳

No one should be homeless, including former politicians. But it's disappointing that MPP Berardinetti's situation has become one of exceptionalism instead of a call for policy reform to reduce homelessness. And yet ... I'm the only person in this article saying so? www.thestar.com/news/gta/i-c...

Ford knows Bill 223 will kill people, and that they will be slapped with a Charter challenge on violating the right to life. Nevertheless, they're expediting the closure of safe consumption sites before the House rises on Dec. 12. The Bill could be passed by Thursday. www.thestar.com/politics/ont...

Is this "planning" decision associated with the university 'renovicting" students with families from existing housing apparently adjacent to the area in question?

With a 'conceptual plan' already in place and announcements made; where is the responsible planning?
