I have more of an issue with forgetting to turn off the burner. But I guess as the house burns down, the smoke detector will work for that, too.

Unless my husband gets there first with, “ARE YOU STILL COOKING SOMETHING?” from across the house.

The relief in knowing for me was that I knew there were ways to cope and it would be more accessible with a diagnosis. I was diagnosed age 50. I mean, as my mom use to tell me, that I’d still forget my head if it wasn’t attached. But now I understand why.

That squirrel is going to have smooth hands.

Have you tried trying harder? 😆😉

(I’ve been getting that a lot lately.)

I have to wean off my off-label med before I go on the new one my provider wants me to try, and I hope that happens.

Ik moet dis vinden in Engels of lezen met Google. Ik kan niet goed Nederlands lezen. Voor zover ik het begrijp, ben ik het met je eens.

For me, it was 50. All because I read an article on inattentive-type ADHD.

Sorry, I totally took the wrong path. The gardens are lovely. I always think of gardening as a unisex thing. Mr. Wilson from Dennis the Menace reruns is probably why. He was always tending the garden.

If the plant “tells” you it’s thirsty, they are good too.

Of course, I also kill quite a few.

I recommend plants that have a low watering schedule. Like succulents or cacti. I had a peace lily for 31 years because it would droop when it needed water. But it had to be in my line of sight.

My husband killed one of my plants buy putting it somewhere I didn’t see it, ie not the place I put it.

Agh, I didn’t even notice paint was ain’t.

I would probably ain’t the birdhouse and then forget to hang it for four years.

Me. For the longest time I thought caffeine giving you that boost was just something people said.

I found two or three with the crochet hashtag.

You still aren’t old enough to understand.

This post triggered the third time I’ve said to myself, “Take your meds. You forgot this morning.”

Thank you for this post. I’m going to do it right now. 😆

My doctor said caffeine works differently with ADHD, so maybe?

There are the perks of not being seen when you don’t want to be seen. It’s kind of a superpower. 😂

I will say don’t find a partner that treats you that way. My husband is probably the only person who makes me a priority and not an option.

I’m almost 52, and have always felt that way.

My son yells out “Mommy!!!” like he is injured or being murdered and when I get to him, he says, “I love you.”

I love you too, but can you tell without sounding like you’re dying???

I feel seen.

Every half year or so I make a list, so that I can agree with.

At least you uninstall the apps. I get bored and just look elsewhere. “Oh, yeah. Finch? How long since I’ve been on that? I may have to try it again….” (Spoiler: I don’t). I’ve given up on notebooks, except the one I use when I talk to my therapist. 😂
