Several high spots in the park offer amazing views over downtown San Diego toward the bay and Coronado Island. It's both a respite from the city, and often a hub of activity. Can you blame us for liking Balboa Park so much?

Balboa Park is home to the San Diego Zoo, countless museums, multiple gardens, several theaters, a 100+ year old carousel, an outdoor organ pavilion, a frisbee golf course, the Spanish Village art center, and so much more.

There's so much packed into this area. If you've ever been to Central Park, or Golden Gate Park, Balboa Park's offerings will feel similar. Balboa Park comes with Spanish architecture and gorgeous weather as a backdrop for this nearly 200-year-old park.

Yes, acknowledging that we’re commenting on an old post. But this is such a good marketing idea. Although it may have originated online, we’re fans of seeing “If you like...” in physical bookstores. The simplicity of doing these comparisons and suggestions is powerful. 👏
