Yeah, that’s pretty much my experience on fandom twt too tbh and I’ve been over there for years. Over here is far better vibe wise, but it’s just unfortunately not great content wise. 😔

I’m also relieved to not have unintentionally found the more questionable side of the aaa fandom or connected with them.

It’s unfortunate that I’m discovering that side of the fandom now but at least I can figure out who to avoid at all costs. I like my peace too much for all of that. 😬

One of her friends confirmed she's taking a break due to harassment. I saw some posts from other people (presumably unrelated to mwp's situation) about someone else, I think another fic author but I'm not certain, also deactivating. The AAA fandom's weird mob mentality behaviours are diabolical.

If the tweets I have seen this morning are any indication, yes. I know nothing about why but the discourse was bad recently and it seemed that mwp was receiving a bunch of ngls, subtweets etc. If what I saw was only a portion of it... that'd be a lot for anyone.

Already switched over to watch Good Hang instead. 🙃
