My students & I kicked it off this wkend by generating about over 12 pounds of P-rich struvite from source separated urine in our NEWtrient Recovery System at U-Michigan. Removing P allows us to create 90 gal of 3.3:0:1.1 NPK urine-derived fertilizer for regenerative farm and campus turf studies.

I’ve been off Bluesky for ~ a year. Thought I would return by sharing a cool picture I took from a boat trip into a Louisiana Bayou last month. This family of raccoons was so cute!
