Well cured, leftward, tangata tiriti, art appreciating, nature loving, climate distressed, culture junkie with insular tendencies.
He/him.
Uh-huh, even better - when Aotearoa can't afford to build enough prisons to hold the swelling numbers of people imprisoned for wearing a patch or being homeless, then GEO Group or some other worthy bunch of corporate love junkies can do it!

That way tax money can be funneled directly to big business instead of investing in effective policies that reduce re-offending like providing access to meaningful employment, stable housing, and strong social support systems. Let's emphasise incarceration over rehabilitation, brilliant!!

Too right Jason! A strong argument for this BS being contrary to the Bill of Rights Act here - www.rightsaotearoa.nz/media-releas...

Yes agree with @nzheretic, land tax is a bit ambiguous. Could be land value tax, proposed by Common Ground Aotearoa, isn't central govt tax though. Basic income AND flat income tax is left and right, could be bipolar, could be ambidextrous.
More questions raised than answers answered.

Ay?? A president floating new financial products is dodgy in way too many ways.
Is he tripping or is this another Epstein distraction?

This kind of regulatory capture is described in "Democracy in Chans", Nancy McLean. Chile went all out and that didn't go well for the people there. Sounds like that reality is now being rewritten as great for the (business) economy. Even that's disingenuous.
Best to nip this in the bud!

He's right, but then . . . he's the expert.
Simon Watts - not so much.

The genocide is still going despite the alleged ceasefire, so trading and cooperation with Israel is still contrary to our UN obligations.
Maybe he's actually thinking about breaking down borders with Palestine & Iran? That'd be cool.
November 13, 2025 at 7:46 AM
Of course you trust the guy enabling genocide. People protesting genocide must be troublemakers right?
October 7, 2025 at 3:39 AM
Of course the guy enabling the genocide is way more entitled to righteous anger than those protesting against it.
Goes without saying.

The rockstar without any original material reinvents themselves as a folk artist and winds up busking on a windswept steet corner in winter economy?

DT's main job is pimping for the US military industrial complex, with some oil industry pimping in between. The tyranny is just a side hussle, but certainly reinforces the idea that guns are the most important thing in the world.
Love is for pussies.

Yes, got one of those from Ian Loan running for Waitematā and Gulf Ward. His meet-your-candidate webpage reads like a litany of Atlas talking points.

Mm, sounds like it's time to re-nationalise electricity generation and networks.
