Yeah, Minecraft is my exception as well. It's just so soothing. Right up until one of those explosive sons of b^&%hes blows up half my camp. I hate them :)

Yeah, I hope it stays that way, but I'm not optimistic. I'm trying to pre-emptively keep it sane by insta blocking any account that's political based in any way. But so far, it has been a breathe of fresh air.

I agree it should be tagged, but you don't have the right to tell them not to post content people want because you don't like it. It's like saying you hate animals so could everybody please stop posting pics of their pets. It's just not going to happen.

Unfortunately, getting spoiled is part of the internet. I couldn't go see Deadpool v Wolverine in the theater and the fact that I got to watch it last night streaming with no spoilers is a minor miracle. It would be polite to at least add a "spoiler alert" tag to posts like that though.

Berzerker. I wasted hours of my life playing that in the arcade and on my old Atari as a little kid. I love that game for some reason.

I never understood exclusivity anyway. It's just leaving money on the table and it's never compelled me to pick up a console anyway. I use PC and I'll never buy a Nintendo, but if they put their games on Steam I'm throwing my wallet at them.

Or just don't read those posts or watch those videos. The world doesn't revolve around you and tons of people like seeing the datamine videos so you're going to have to adapt.

It's weird though. In open world games, especially rpgs. I almost always turn the music off because it kills immersion for me. The background music I mean, not in-game music like radio stations in Fallout.

True, but unfortunately they'll end up here anyway. I'm pre-emptively blocking every account making political posts of any kind. If I want that, I still have twitter. I came here for games, new friends, good times, and animal pictures like a damn normal human.

Oh, you mean someone should acquire EA? My bad, I thought you meant EA should buy Ubisoft. Yeah, EA would be a great pick up for MS and hopefully they'd ressurect all those great dead IP's like Ultima, Wing Commander and Sim City.

Oooff, too bad they made a couple major terrible design decisions. Why would the leader stay with you forever, but the actual civilization changes every age. We'll have to tell Egypt they no longer exist. Then any leader for any nation? So, so bad.

MS would be the best choice. The alternative's are all worse. They talking with Tencent and that's awful. Sony's a mess right now and EA is an absolute studio and IP killer.

I think they're in talks with Tencent. MS would be ideal, but the problem is that it would never get approved hot off the Bethesda and Activision acquisitions. That would be too monopolistic for most oversight organizations globally.

EA is the worst possible choice. EA has been killing incredible game companies and burying beloved IP's since the late 1980's. Absolutely not.
