This episode does a big disservice to Rattrap. From the way the others treat him to his actual characterization. No matter how pissed he was at the others, he would never think of collaborating with Megatron. Even if we ignore the events of Beast Wars, by the start of this show along, the stuff(🧵)

Episode 6, AKA, everyone dumping on Rattrap for no reason. Seriously, even if he messed upped the plan, the Vehicons would’ve start being created either way. The only difference is that Cheetor got shocked

Good touch to have Vehicon generals still use transformation code words. Lines up with the then current Cybertronian technology Megatron’s working with and I like how they each have their own unique phrase

Not a fan of RatTrap threatening to rat Black Aracnia out to Primal. Feels too mean for him, especially since he wouldn’t even gain anything from that. Also odd for him to take issue with given he’s the one who takes issue with/disregard Primal’s leadership the most

I will say, while the art style and character designs are certainly….something, Mainframe still killing it in the animation department. I really like the sort of comic book stylization this show has at times

Why are they just now blowing up the Optimus Prime statue? I saw I clip of this out of context and I thought this happened when the Vehicons started to take over, which would have made more sense. Also, why is holding 2 Golden Disk? they shouldn’t even know about the Vok one at that point

“The Beast Wars are over, you lost.” Um no. The whole conflict the Beast Wars centered around was you laundering the earth of its Energon, which you failed at, and you trying to change history, which you failed at. This new conflict has almost nothing to do with the Beast Wars. Hold that L, buddy!
